• Based on data from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Automotive Federation (AAF), 65,934 motor vehicles were sold in the Philippines from January to July, significantly higher than the 48,166 units recorded in the same period last year.
• In July alone, the country posted a 14.4 percent increase in motor vehicle production, rising to 8,961 units from 7,832 in July last year.
